This EWTN original movie, filmed on location in Canada and the United States, presents the life of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. Orphaned by disease and traumatized by war, Kateri, a young Mohawk maiden, was evangelized by French Catholic missionaries. Responding to the Christ-like example of an enlightened missionary, Kateri becomes one of her peoples’ most fervent converts to the Catholic faith in North America, and our nation’s first Native American saint.
