THEY MIGHT BE SAINTS: SISTER MARIE DE MANDAT-GRANCEY DVD
Serving a mission to Turkey in the late 1800s, Sister Marie de Mandat-Grancey became intrigued with the holy writings of a bedridden woman, who despite her afflictions traveled the world through her mystical visions. The woman wrote of a house in Turkey that had once been occupied by Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Determined to bring this great treasure to the Catholic Church, Sister Marie managed to locate the house in those visions, and despite many obstacles she purchased the property. Today, the House of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus, Turkey, stands as an important shrine for Christians and Muslims alike. Sister Marie lived the rest of her days in Christian charity and devout dedication to Mary, but her heroism and perseverance in the face of overwhelming odds is a lesson for Catholics everywhere. Hosted by “Miracle Hunter” Michael O’Neill. 1 disc / 30 minutes (CC)
